San Francisco Handbook is a project initiated by Jim Sottile to instigate a photo sharing relationship around the subject of lost, discarded or dropped gloves.
Images are captured in the moment when the subjects are encountered on the landscape. Additional participants have begun sharing their photography as contributing members to the project following similar criteria. San Francisco Handbook has currently been presented in two volumes.
Succeeding volumes will present work shared and mixed with work by the artist.
Contributions will be accepted digitally by text message or email to the artist only after meeting with them in person.
